Chapter I
The Design
what this deck wants
A mono-white Voltron-and-redirect deck built around Anti-Venom's second ability: all damage dealt to him is prevented and converted into +1/+1 counters. Pair him with a damage-redirect enchantment (Pariah, With Great Power . . ., Gideon's Sacrifice, Pariah's Shield) and every point of damage any opponent throws at you instead piles counters onto your commander — you become unkillable through combat while a Voltron body balloons. The deck wins by suiting that growing, protected body with equipment and swinging, or by locking the table out of a combat win with a redirect piece. Anti-Venom's cast trigger also reanimates a creature from your yard, giving the shell a reanimation angle on top.

Sequence
how the game unfolds
EARLY: deploy ramp and draw enablers — Sol Ring, Land Tax, Archaeomancer's Map, Smothering Tithe, plus Stoneforge Mystic and Sram, Senior Edificer to start chaining equipment. Hold up a Swords to Plowshares or Path to Exile for anything scary. MID: land the equipment suite on a body — Anti-Venom himself is {W}{W}{W}{W}{W} and lands around turn 5-6, so you often start Voltroning a lesser creature first. Once Anti-Venom is out, attach protection (Swiftfoot Boots, Champion's Helm, Commander's Plate) and set up the redirect lock. LATE: with a redirect enchantment on Anti-Venom you take zero damage and he grows every time an opponent (or you, via Wave of Reckoning) deals damage; add trample/unblockable (Rogue's Passage, Super State) to close. Archangel of Thune turns your lifegain creatures into a board-wide counter engine as a secondary route.
Ramp is the deck's strongest pillar and it's land-forward white ramp, not rocks: Sol Ring and Pearl Medallion accelerate, while Land Tax, Archaeomancer's Map, Knight of the White Orchid, Weathered Wayfarer, and Extraplanar Lens keep lands and white mana flowing — exactly what a {W}{W}{W}{W}{W} commander and Nykthos/Nyx Lotus devotion payoffs demand. Burst mana is a single piece, Smothering Tithe, which snowballs Treasures off opponents' draws; treat it as a one-shot spike per combat step of greed, not sustained ramp. The curve is low and clean — average MV 2.76 with 16 one-drops and a fat cluster at three — so you deploy enablers early and the real mana sink is casting and re-casting the five-pip commander. The gas engine is equipment-cast draw: Sram, Puresteel Paladin, and Esper Sentinel replace each piece you play.

Chapter V
The Opening
what to keep, what to ship
You want 2-4 lands (the model shows ~2.7 in an opener and under 3 sources on turn 3 only 7% of the time, so 2 lands plus Sol Ring or Land Tax is a fine keep). Beyond lands, look for at least one of: a ramp/fixing piece toward five white pips, a cheap draw engine (Sram, Esper Sentinel, Stoneforge Mystic), or a redirect piece (Pariah, Gideon's Sacrifice). Ship hands that are all lands and protection with no engine, or hands with a single land — this deck's floor is fine but it needs white pips to curve into the commander. Don't keep purely on a redirect enchantment with no way to cast or protect Anti-Venom.

Chapter VI
The Close
how it ends
- Voltron beatdown: stack Hammer of Nazahn, Commander's Plate, and a Super State or Champion's Helm on Anti-Venom (or any body), grant evasion with Rogue's Passage, and swing for lethal while Mother of Runes/Giver of Runes protect the investment.
- Redirect lock + grow: enchant Anti-Venom with Pariah, With Great Power . . ., or Pariah's Shield so all damage to you hits him, is prevented, and becomes +1/+1 counters — you stop taking damage entirely while he snowballs into a lethal attacker.
- Stuffy Doll mirror kill: with Stuffy Doll redirecting its own damage via Pariah or Pariah's Shield, the loop draws the game — or point it at a player and feed damage to burn them out.
- Lifegain counter engine: Archangel of Thune plus lifelink bodies (Danitha Capashen, Mangara, the Diplomat) grows your whole board every life gain, turning a wide team lethal.

Chapter VII
Assemblies
pieces that lock together
Anti-Venom, Horrifying Healer + With Great Power . . . → prevent all damage to you and grow him, a lock
- Cast Anti-Venom, Horrifying Healer and let the ETB resolve.
- Cast With Great Power . . . enchanting Anti-Venom.
- All damage that would hit you is now dealt to Anti-Venom instead.
- His replacement effect prevents that damage and converts it into +1/+1 counters, so you take nothing and he grows.
Anti-Venom, Horrifying Healer + Pariah → prevent all damage to you, a lock
- Resolve Anti-Venom, Horrifying Healer on the battlefield.
- Cast Pariah enchanting Anti-Venom.
- Every point of damage aimed at you is redirected to him.
- Anti-Venom prevents it and banks it as +1/+1 counters — you are immune to damage and he snowballs.
Stuffy Doll + Pariah's Shield → draw the game
- Have Pariah's Shield in play and Stuffy Doll on the battlefield.
- Equip Pariah's Shield onto Stuffy Doll (equip {3}).
- Activate Stuffy Doll's {T} to deal 1 damage to itself (or let any damage hit it).
- All damage to you is redirected to Stuffy Doll, which redirects that damage to the chosen player — with no way to end it, the game is drawn.
Stuffy Doll + Pariah → draw the game
- Have Stuffy Doll on the battlefield with a player chosen.
- Cast Pariah enchanting Stuffy Doll.
- Any damage to you is dealt to Stuffy Doll instead, which bounces it to the chosen player.
- Stuffy Doll is indestructible, so the loop persists and the game draws.
Anti-Venom, Horrifying Healer + Pariah's Shield → prevent all damage to you, a lock
- Resolve Anti-Venom, Horrifying Healer.
- Equip Pariah's Shield onto Anti-Venom (equip {3}).
- All damage to you is redirected to him.
- Anti-Venom prevents the damage and converts it to +1/+1 counters — a full damage lock that also wins through growth.
Anti-Venom, Horrifying Healer + Gideon's Sacrifice → prevent all damage to you, a lock
- Control Anti-Venom, Horrifying Healer on the battlefield.
- Cast Gideon's Sacrifice, choosing Anti-Venom.
- All damage that would be dealt this turn to you and your permanents is dealt to Anti-Venom instead.
- He prevents it and banks it as counters — a one-turn lock you can repeat, and it's only {W}.

Chapter VIII
Handling
counsel and common errors
- Don't race to cast Anti-Venom into open removal — he's {W}{W}{W}{W}{W} and your whole plan rides on him. Hold Mother of Runes, Giver of Runes, or Mithril Coat/Swiftfoot Boots ready before you tap out, and keep Command Beacon in mind if he gets taxed off the field.
- You often start Voltroning a cheaper body (via Stoneforge Mystic chains) before the commander lands — don't sit on equipment waiting for turn 6.
- The redirect combo only prevents damage to YOU; it doesn't stop targeted removal, sacrifice, or -X/-X. Sequence protection (Teferi's Protection, Flawless Maneuver) around that gap.
- Wave of Reckoning is a trap if you don't have a redirect piece down — it kills your own board; time it as a combo payoff or a true reset only.
- Against multicolor decks, Ravnica at War is a one-sided wipe since your team is mono-white — hold it rather than firing it reactively.
- Watch the Stuffy Doll lines: drawing the game is a real out when you're being outraced, but it ends YOUR game too — only deploy it as a genuine last resort or as a burn tool pointed at one player.
- Your weakest pillar is board protection relative to how little you're threatening — commit to actually pressuring a win once the lock is up rather than durdling behind it; the goldfish shows this deck is slow to close.
